If you are open to exploring where God might be leading you, contact our ministry director in your state. Whether you are considering a short-term mission assignment (3 months to two years) or longer-term service is your goal, one of our representatives would love to talk with you. They will have coffee, listen to your dreams, talk about your gifts and interests and help you explore opportunities which might fit your skills and personality.

The next Step
There is no obligation of any kind for you or SIM in the initial enquiry process, and each step is made only on the basis of mutual agreement. If you make an application to SIM and it is successful, we will work with you to finalise your assignment and plan what you need to do in preparation for your time overseas.
Preparation
SIM will continue to guide and encourage you as you go through the process of preparing practically, culturally and spiritually for your assignment. As part of your preparation you will attend an orientation course with SIM. This will help to prepare you for working in another culture as part of a diverse team.
Involve your church leadership and members of your church all along the way. Their encouragement, evaluation and support both in prayer and financially will be vital to your mission experience.
