Volunteer

SIM chooses to exist by faith which means we rely on God alone through his people, to provide for our ministry.

If you have a heart for world mission and are wondering how you can be involved, SIM has lots of opportunities for you to support cross-cultural mission at home and overseas.

First and foremost we need people to pray. The evidence of our walking by faith is our dependence on God through prayer for our missionaries, our ministries and our leadership. You can be involved in the partnership of prayer.

You can help by financially supporting our missionaries or our ministries. Even small gifts make a big difference. Your gifts can be given online or in various other ways.

Become an advocate

Maybe you can't go overseas right now. That's great! because you can help right here in a huge way.

SIM Australia has many opportunities for people to be advocates for projects, people groups, human and spiritual needs and advocates for others serving in mission.

Could you see yourself doing any of these?

  • Raising funds for a project in your church, youth group or workplace
  • Supporting a missionary you know by being their special advocate in your church or group
  • Speaking at a range of churches and venues
  • Organising (or helping with) events
  • Taking a team to visit a project or missionary
  • Communicating to supporters by helping with mail-outs, thankyous or project reports

Volunteer

SIM Australia has openings for people willing to give their time, skills and experience to assist in the home office or help our State ministry directors.
