Location: Kijabe, Kenya
From a small clinic that started in 1915, AIC Kijabe Hospital has grown to become a well-respected institution in Kenya that provides compassionate health care, excellent medical training, and spiritual ministry in Jesus Christ. The hospital staff, including 26 specialists from Kenya and around the world, sees over 100,000 outpatients and performs around 8,500 surgeries per year. In addition to being East Africa’s first training site in nurse anesthesia, the hospital provides training in family medicine, general surgery, ENT, audiology, orthopedics, pediatric surgery, emergency medicine, and pediatric neurosurgery. This nonprofit hospital serves the vulnerable, offering first-rate medical care in Jesus’ name.
