Discovery Eye Center is an innovative and academically oriented centre of excellence in eye care that serves greater Ethiopia. A joint initiative led by Christian Ethiopian and expatriate ophthalmologists, the centre’s mission is to provide comprehensive, sight-restoring clinical and surgical care for all Ethiopians while serving as a leader in advanced training, with special attention to the poor. Discipleship and outreach are core aspects of the eye centre. Labouring to provide physical sight that will last a lifetime, Discovery Eye Center seeks to change hearts for eternity.
