Hospital 2 in South Asia

This hospital has cared for people in this South Asian country since 1930. Services include obstetrics and gynecology, general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedic, and intensive care. A suite of community health and development programs empower women and adolescent girls from vulnerable communities, people with disabilities or mental disorders, and people with HIV and AIDS. These programs also facilitate community organisation and advocacy for reproductive rights, protection from slavery and sustainable freedom for the vulnerable, capacity-building of the government health delivery system, primary health care in peripheral health centers, and mobile clinics in three district regions. As a “fellowship for transformation through caring,” the staff make Jesus known in word and deed among people facing tremendous needs.
