This project gives shelter, counselling and health services in the city of Dhaka to girls, mothers and pregnant women who have been forced into sex slavery or at-risk due to poverty, homelessness or trafficking. The project also offers education and training so the women have an alternative livelihood. Training includes literacy classes, teaching in life skills, parenting and vocational skills in jewellery-making and sewing, as well as employment opportunities at a partner fair-trade business.

This project is taking a highly participative approach to meet the development needs of two marginalised communities in West Timor. Local leaders will be responsible for leading the development process in each village. They will receive training to implement community development activities such as providing access to safe drinking water, sanitation, nutrition and improved farming techniques.
